This is definitely the filler book in the series, but still: wow. I am loving the character development of Frost and Mason, and watching the process of their relationship.I don't want to give away anything for folks who haven't read the first book, but Frost and Mason are still trying to defeat the martians, this time working as double agents.
So, this was definitely worth it for the characters, and as build-up to the final book. I can't wait to read it!
I'm pleasantly surprised by this series, I honestly didn't expect to like it this much.
